Is there a solo traveler supplement
Most of our trips do not have a solo traveler supplement; however, this can differ from trip to trip.
Please contact us to find out all the relevant information for the trip you're interested in.
Do I have to share a room?
No, accommodation on all trips is based on single-occupancy rooms.
Is an airport pick-up included?
Yes, airport pick-up indicated in the trip details is included for all trips.
What travel documents are required?
We are happy to provide a detailed list of travel documents required for every trip once your booking is confirmed. If you have any questions about the required documents, please contact us.
What is your cancellation policy?
In the event that you must cancel your reservation prior to departure, the following cancellation fees will apply:
- An initial deposit of $1500.00 per person per destination is non-refundable.
- The balance is due 120 days prior to departure date. Departure date is the date the trip begins regardless of the date you may depart from your location of origin.
- 120 days or less prior to departure: 100% non-refundable.
Please note that Delectable Destinations LLC must receive a written letter of cancellation. Changes are considered cancellations and, as such, are subject to fees.
Who is leading the trip?
Our excellent and knowledgeable Delectable Destinations trip leaders lead our trips. The trip leaders are not necessarily the same on every journey and are subject to change.
Where does the trip start and end?
Every trip's start and end dates are specified in the tour details with the itinerary we send you once your booking is confirmed.
Do I need travel insurance?
For your peace of mind, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for the duration of your trip. This valuable coverage ensures you can recover your trip expenses in case of unexpected changes to your plans. It also provides assistance for medical emergencies, emergency transportation, and protection against theft, loss, or damage to your belongings. Travel insurance is not included in the trip price.
Do you book flights?
No, however, we are happy to provide you with guidance on selecting the best flights for you if needed
What should I pack?
We provide a detailed packing list to our guests as part of the pre-trip information. If you have any questions about the packing list, please contact us.
Do I need vaccinations/immunizations?
Depending on the destination and your vaccination history, you may need vaccinations/immunizations for some trips. Please contact us so that we can provide personalized assistance as needed.
What does the price include?
Please refer to the trip page for the tour you are interested in to find a detailed list of the inclusions and exclusions. In general, our trips include round trip pick up and transfers; accommodations; all breakfasts, lunches, and dinners; local wines/alcohol where applicable; cooking classes/demonstrations; all excursions and tours as per itinerary; and private ground transportation for our group.
What is not included in the price?
Please refer to the trip page for the trip you are interested in to find a detailed list of the inclusions and exclusions. In general, our trips do not include airfare, insurance, incidentals, personal expenses and anything else not otherwise indicated as included.
How adventurous does one have to be in terms of culinary tasting?
We promote trying new and diverse foods, encouraging you to step outside your comfort zone and be curious about different culinary experiences. If you have any questions please contact us.
What are the accommodations like on your trips?
We carefully select a variety of villas, as well as four-star and five-star hotels worldwide.
What is the activity level of your trips?
Activity level is based on the individual trip with the average trip activity being medium. Guests should be able to stand while in cooking classes and participate in moderate walking activities in the countryside and cities. Further details are provided when guests book a trip.
